Frequently
Asked Questions

What is a sacred birth guide, and how is this different from a traditional doula?
A sacred birth guide supports not only the physical needs of pregnancy and birth but also the emotional, energetic, and spiritual dimensions of the journey. While traditional doulas focus primarily on physical and emotional comfort, sacred birth guides integrate ancient wisdom, ritual, energetic practices, and intuitive care to create a deeply holistic experience.
Do you support all types of births?
Yes. We honor and support all birthing choices—homebirth, hospital birth, water birth, unmedicated, medicated, cesarean, and everything in between. Our role is to walk beside you, helping you feel grounded, empowered, and connected no matter where or how you choose to give birth.
What kinds of energetic or spiritual practices might be included?
Our offerings are tailored to each family and may include grounding rituals, meditation, breathwork, intuitive guidance, ancestral connection work, sacred ceremony, touch therapy, and baby communication practices. We always center safety, consent, and personal comfort in everything we do.
Can my partner or support person be involved?
Absolutely. We believe birth is a shared journey. We welcome partners and support people into the process and offer tools, practices, and guidance to help them feel confident, connected, and fully present. Everyone in the birthing space plays an important role in holding love and grounding.
When should I book support with your collective?
We encourage families to reach out as early as possible—ideally in the first or second trimester—so we can build a strong foundation of trust and connection. However, we welcome inquiries at any stage of pregnancy, birth, or postpartum. If you feel called to this work, it’s the right time.
